Experiences That Matter
Hockey Hero brings together three key parts of every hockey family's journey.
1. Discounted Quality Gear
Kids grow fast, and hockey gear is expensive: $3–5K for players, $6–10K for goalies. Multiply that by growth spurts and years of playing, and it adds up! Hockey Hero helps you save with trusted sellers, you earn rewards points to redeem as cash back on the site, and we're direct to consumer (DTC), so no more sketchy parking lot pickups.
2. Quality Coaches & Trainers
Search, engaged, connect, and even book some of the top coaches in the game. Some even accept Hockey Hero rewards points to offset training session costs.
3. Community Connection
Hockey is full of shared wisdom. 5 Minute Major are podcast segments with some of your favourite trainers and coaches in the game. Hear from them, why they love the game, what they're in it for, shared advice/learning, and more. Hockey Hero Helps has helpful training videos and tips/tricks from those in the sport. Latest gear reviews, shooting technique advice, or hot takes on goalie laces vs. bungees—you’ll find answers to questions, insights from parents, coaches, players, and more. It's help for hockey from the whole community.
Community Focused
HockeyHero reflects the community—it starts with you. Have ideas or gear to sell? Jump in. Built by Canadians on Canadian tech (Shopify), we welcome your feedback. Contribute, don’t complain. 🙂
Want to share something? We'd love to hear from you and submit it for review—posts go up Tuesdays.
Is enough being done to save the sport? Probably not. Rink shortages, high costs, and low accessibility are real problems. HockeyHero is here to help, even in small ways. Let’s grow the game—together.
